A guy, whom I assume is part of the Ajo Street Art Project, was working on this mural when I was in Ajo last autumn. Kenny Howard (a. k. a. Von Dutch, a. k. a. J. L. Bachs) was probably the originator of the flying eyeball, though some say it was Rick Griffin. Maybe they dropped acid together and co-created it.
