We were afraid to stop for fear we wouldn't be able to get started again. Maybe that slow driver had the same fear? We did use truck lanes when they were available, though, and long pullouts when we thought every one behind us could pass before we got to the far end of it. By doing that as often as we could we helped keep the line-up behind us more manageable. We once pulled into a large turnout an...I hear you. We once pulled into a large turnout and had lunch to get far enough behind a slow driver. Another driver thing that bothered me is the people who used the Natchez Trace Parkway as a commuter route so they would pass us going VERY fast.
