Those clouds that were creeping over the ridge yesterday evening? They dropped a couple inches of snow on the other side of the ridge last night. In May. Cool.

I lived in Newport Beach, Huntington Beach and Long Beach, so it’s easy to forget Southern California isn’t all beaches and suburbs. Traveling helps me remember that. And surprises me sometimes.
