Depending on which expert you talk to, humans can perceive anywhere from 100,000 to 10,000,000 colors. However, judging from my quick and sloppy field research, Colorado cabin owners can see only three colors: Standard Brown, Official Brown and Identical-to-the-Other-Two-Browns Brown. There's the occasional cabin stained a different color, though. Those must belong to color blind people. Or out-of-staters.
Must be cheaper to buy this color than any other. Maybe because so many people buy it that they can batch price it?
ReplyDeleteAre you looking for a new ride and if so what would it be and you're reasons. If not how many miles until you do? I'm trying to get a sense of longevity for as I make plans.
ReplyDeleteI'm almost three years into this van, creeping up on 200k miles (got it with 115K on it.). It's running great (knock on wood). No plans to replace it until either it dies or I do. Realistically, three or four more years. Guess I'd better start saving.
ReplyDeleteThe humble cargo van is also my first choice. They can be bought used for a reasonable price with plenty of life left in them and will get you to most out of the way boon docking within reason. It blends in with the crowd in most areas (I always hang a high vis. safety vest in the cab to give it the look of a tradesman vehicle) Sure there are less comforts like showers and standing up but one of the reasons I left home was because I was too comfortable and needed to be out in the world instead of sitting in front of a computer or tv all day.
