Alan what year is your van? How miles do you have on it? I am looking for a Chevy van but no luck yet. Have you had any major repairs done on it. I just don't trust my. 2002 Ford E150 to go that far. 141000 miles. Runs great but has a few issues like slight driveline noise, which has'nt gotten any worse. And ticking sound on cold start till it warms up. Maybe I just worry to much about it breaking down. I replaced 2 coil packs already but am able change those myself. Have an ObD reader.
It's a 2007 with 220,000 miles. The front brake rotors warped shortly after I bought it (with 115,000 miles) and I had them turned. They warped again and I had them replaced this past November. Other than that, it keeps chugging along.
Your 150 should go another 100k easy is you do maintance. Grease your universal joints... should be 2 one at the rear of The drive shaft, one up front where it connects to the transmission. A valve adjustment is probably why it ticks till it gets warmed up. Simple not major.
Nice pic of zorro & Chester playing in the sand beneath your beach chairs,a little to far away though.
