I've been seeing European vanlifers on Instagram getting good results with this oven that goes on top of your gas cooker, Omnia. There's a wire rack insert available.

Controlling burning on the bottom is tough in these. I've tried a few different things and am currently using about 1" airgap via an alcohol stove stand. Decent results but still testing.
Looks GREAT to me, especially with some Hatch Green Chili sauce to dip them in.

The purpose of the testing is to see whether I can "bake" using what I already have.

ReplyDeleteHave you ever considered an Omnia oven? I think they produce excellent results, although there is a bit of a learning curve when beginning.
