What's the opposite of Indian summer?

Sometimes, when you no longer hear the rain on the roof, it's not because the rain has stopped. I woke up to about a quarter inch of snow/sleet/slush.

I'm not mentally prepared for this kind of weather. luckily, I can go somewhere else. I'm out of here.
