What does one do when it's too hot in Tucson? Go up on Mt. Lemmon. Much better at 9,000 feet. And the air is cleaner, too.
Made that escape myself once or twice when The Daughter lived in Tucson. Also took my Mom up there to McKidric (sp?) Creek to check 'sit beside a mountain stream' off her bucket list on her last real camping trip.
