South again

 

I did the long haul from Grans Canyon to one of my standard Tucson area camping spots: Ironwood Forest National Monument. From the mid-70s to the high 90s. What a difference a 2,000 foot elevation change can make.

    Looks like monsoon may be easing and the temps will be headed up again. Be safe out there.

      I'm spending the day atop Mt. Lemmon. 8,000+ feet, 74°.

      Good choice. The lapse rate is your friend. I'll bet the desert is pretty green, good Monsoon this year.
