This past summer I built a step to replace the one I'd driven off without, which was a replacement for the one I'd backed over. Well...
I dunno. Maybe I should get one that folds out from the vehicle. The higher cost, the trouble finding one designed to fit Chevy vans and the trouble to install it might be worth it.
Or I could get a lackey to kneel by the Rolling Steel Tent when needed. Hey, it worked for monarchs in the olden days.
That's something I would've done. Apparently you need to build the next one out of Iron wood.
ReplyDeleteYou need a post it note on your steering wheel. Just ask Chet to remind you ;)

Or you could get a running board. Lowers your ground clearance but you can't drive over it or leave it behind.
ReplyDeleteOr you could use a milk crate... doubles as a crate!
ReplyDeleteI used a milk crate for a while. It was too tall. Also, the proportions made it more likely to tip.
DeleteSaw it down to a better size? I'm sure you have all kinds of tools with you... ;)
ReplyDeleteIf you remove the thick edge around the open end, the crate loses structural integrity and will collapse.
