Proper distancing

Unless I’m camped with friends, this is what I consider a proper amount of space between me and other folks boondocking in a popular area.

  1. Hmmm. Rather liberal, I'd say. Within sight is too close for me. I applaud your tolerance.

  2. Gonna be harder and harder to find those 1000 yard circles to stay in the middle of.

    1. Van Aid is going to be here next week, so that's certainly true in my very near future.

    2. Saw a YouTube the other day that was in central Oregon, around Burns. looks like there might be some 5000 yard circles available there, the bummer being there was about a foot of snow everywhere. No nearby neighbors, though.

    3. South of Burns a way is the Alvord dry lake (photo at top of blog) where you can have miles of empty space around you.

    4. Looks pretty bleak and dusty. As you say though, a lot of empty space. All of eastern Oregon looked like that to me every time I went thru it.

    5. Perhaps good places would stay good if bloggers and vloggers would stop mentioning specific locations on the internet.
