The correct answer, of course, is that he was clamping to strips of wood together while the glue dried.
And yet the reason for the strips being glued still escapes us? About that hot...um.... car in the newer post -- is that a pipe sticking straight out above the license plate? A mystery much like the unknown glued strips?
