This building on the fringes of Borrego Springs has been a number of things over the years. Now it’s a target for tagging and vandalism. And the photo subject for at least one passerby.
My favorite former service station is now a diner on Historic Route 66 where it cuts across a corner of Kansas at Baxter Springs. Part of their decor is a takeoff of the movie Cars.
Where do the cretins get the $ for the paint cans?...When I was a nitwit a couple of $ were spent on smokes..Then I realized smoking stunk.. Oh well........ P.S. some are artists for sure, but the others..nah! Stay warm...
