A friend fries her bread in a skillet the same way you make grilled cheese sandwiches. Voila! Toast! Wonder what would happen if you fried your bread in the bacon grease? Sounds tempting to me.
Funny you should mention it. This morning, after the bacon and eggs were done, I fried up some naan in the last of the bacon grease. Yummy. My doctor is shaking his head in disgust.

NOPE, nobody said bacon, what was said was: HIGH CHOLESTEROL !!! LOL.
LOL. I'm a part - timer. Bacon is the best! But I find sausage simpler, more left overs, and less clean up.
p.s. I should have said that TOAST (not bacon) is what originally caught my eye. Quality toast whilst Vanning is a very large challenge.
