There are campground-style electrical hookups all along two sides of Green River's park. How nice for the RV population. However, there are also these signs:

So, what's the thinking? Come use our electricity but get out by sundown? Or are the hookups meant for vendors at events, like the recent Melon Days? At least they aren't parking meters.


  1. So you could pull in for part of the day and charge everything up then go find someplace pretty to camp? I could handle that. It would mean standing street side to plug into my rig than draping the cord across the sidewalk, though, so it probably wouldn't be allowed for long. Bet your guess about them being for vendors is more accurate.
