Now with 100% more hammock

We  moved camp to the north side of the cafe to put more room between us and other campers. There's more sand and no wall separating us from the beach. We're slightly closer to the shower and toilets. We also have more shelter from the wind if it returns. Best of all is the shorter stroll to the fabulous meals Victoria makes for us.

  1. I like hammocks better since I learned you are supposed to sit in them sideways and spread their width beneath you. No more folding up like a V.

  2. Al, been following you for quite some time and finally went nomadic on a full time basis since April. Love it. Am currently wandering in Nevada —> Arizona but have been eyeballing coming down to Baja and would love to meet up with you (and Co.) for a bit. Up for it?

Also, I’ve read that the general consensus is Baja is safe as long as you don’t go by yourself. Whatcha think?

    Take care,
    Ray

    1. Sure, let's meet up. I'll be in San Felipe for another week, then going to Ehrenburg AZ for a little while to take care of some business before going back to Baja. Last February I spent three weeks alone in Baja. I never felt unsafe. Of course going anywhere new is easier if you're with someone who has been there before.

  3. Sounds good, Al. I see you'll leave and then come back. Roundabouts when is a good time to mosey my way south to meet up? Much appreciated.

    1. I'll be gone next week and maybe the week after, depending on how things go in AZ. I hope to be in San Felipe for the last week of the year and through most of January.
