Meanwhile

While I was off malingering in the hospital, Lou got the fourth wall erected and the rafters in place.

Here you can see how there’s going to be a new roof under the old one.

      For Lou to live in.

      Or do you mean why two roofs? The top roof provides shade for the other roof, reducing the need for cooling. Also, the lower roof is easier to insulate from heat or cold than the old roof.

      Also, with the new 11-inch rafters, he can fit up to twice as much insulation.
