Wasn't I just here?

Nah, that was back in October. And I'd forgotten I could get a bit of 4G signal at the Tribal Park campground. They changed policy since I was here last. Now you can't use the tent camping parking spaces unless you're going to actually pitch a tent. If you're going to sleep in a vehicle, then you have to pop for an RV space. That spoils the fun. Oh well. It's still worth that classic view.

  1. So get a cheap *Mart tent and pitch it. You don't have to actually sleep in it...

    1. Then I'd have to carry it around. I have places for everything and everything in its place. One more item would throw the universe out of alignment and we would all die. Besides, cost of the tent (even a $40 one) plus the cost of a tent site would be more than the cost of an RV site.

    2. You are funny , you're my type of guy !!

  2. Mate Al, I had to comment as I have been following your blog for a very long time and love it.

Your comment about the tent reminded me of what Henry David Thoreau wrote in Walden ... "A lady once offered me a mat, but as I had no room to spare within the house, nor time to spare within or without to shake it, I declined it, preferring to wipe my feet on the sod before my door. It is best to avoid the beginnings of evil"

    Al, you are doing great.
