Things you can do with a puddle

The weather system here in southeastern Wyoming has offered up scattered clouds and nice sunsets the past few days. There was a bit of rain, which left us with puddles and the chance to do an old photography trick.

  1. Good afternoon Al,
I've been following your blog for a couple years and I enjoy your dry humor in your posts and your photography. I'm not sure I could live full time in a van but spending the summer touring the West sounds pretty good. If your ever in Wisconsin I have a ten acre plot of land on a quiet country road you could use for week or more. The Driftless area of Wisconsin and upper Mississippi River Valley is a beautiful area.

    1. Back in 1995 I went on a grand tour of the country, including Wisconsin. I came in through the southwest corner (which I guess is the Driftless area) and visited the Dickeyville Grotto. Then I headed to Milwaukee with the intention of visiting the Harley-Davidson factory, but I was in Madison when I learned the factory was closed for retooling. No tours. So I headed north and ended up in Wisconsin Dells where I took a duck boat ride and did my first bungee jump. Then I went to the Fresh Water Fishing Hall of Fame in Hayward before crossing into Minnesota.
