I had debated myself last year about running ads on my blog. The argument for purity won out. But then I got notices from Google that I qualified for AdSense. Uhhhhhhhh............., what the hell. Give it a try, see what happens, and cancel it if I don't like it or if the money isn't worth it. So here we are. Happy New Year.
We are all old enough to decide if we want to see beyond an ad or not. It's fine. See how it goes for you.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your interesting blog.

So ... hmm. I wondered why I had to scroll down so far to get to your actual content. Suddenly, an organic distributor I used to order from popped up as well as a place where my ex works. I'm not IT savvy enough to know (or care) how that happens but I know it does. A lot. What I do know is that it creeps me out.
ReplyDeleteI'm curious. What kind of device are you using to view the blog?
DeleteI think the ads you see are based on your browsing history.
DeleteMy mac is fairly old and pretty much obsolete at this point. I know it's my browser history but it still creeps me out. Seriously, despite all the blocks, history cleansing and switching browsers, things come up from eons ago.
DeleteAnyway, hope the ads work out for you.
Wow, I now see to my right that I can win $5,000 a week through PCH. How cool is that? And I've never, ever, entered such a thing so perhaps it's not so creepy after all.
I didn't get any ads on my Mac so I'm just fine with whatever you are doing. :)

I'm always going back and forth about that for my blog, too. Right now I got. Maybe soon I won't. The earnings are so pitiful, it's like, Why annoy people? But then, I'll bend over to pick up a penny.
