On the outskirts of Pahrump

The desert can look bland or even ugly most of the day, but when the sun is setting or rising, it can be beautiful.

I'm camped a couple of hundred yards from Debra and Robert. Far enough for privacy, close enough for a short stroll. Bob and Carolyn will arrive sometime in the next couple of days.

There have been howling winds, which happened the last time Debra and I were within walking distance of each other. It might not be coincidence. But the air should calm down by tomorrow.

  1. In the last picture, it that your van with 2 roof-vents ? Bet it's nice to have good ventilation in your home, but... where is your solar panel, I don't see no solar panel over the roof !

    1. That's Debra's van. She has solar panel she sets up on the ground.

    2. Two vents is the way to go! Get one blowing in and one blowing out so that van doesn't heat up.

  2. What is it with us and the wind? Lol. :)) Great pics as always Al. Thank you!

To anon: I travel with 2 dogs & the vents help with air flow - one in, one out. ;))
